A lot of people come to therapy feeling like they’ve been holding things together on their own for a long time.

Sometimes this shows up as being capable and dependable on the outside, while internally feeling tired, overwhelmed, or unsure of how much longer you can keep doing it this way.

Therapy can be a place where you don’t have to carry it all alone.

I offer a steady, attuned space where you can begin to slow things down and share what has been difficult, at a pace that feels manageable for you. My intention is not to rush the process, but to help you feel enough safety and steadiness that you are able to stay with your experience, rather than move away from it or become overwhelmed by it.

Together, we begin to make sense of what you are carrying and how it has been shaped by your experiences over time. This often includes noticing patterns in how you respond to stress, relationships, and emotional intensity, and understanding what those patterns may have been trying to do for you.

I pay close attention not only to what is spoken, but also to what feels just beneath the surface. Many people describe feeling genuinely understood in a way that is grounding and clarifying, rather than overwhelming or analytical.

My work is informed by the understanding that our experiences are shaped by many layers, including relationships, identity, and the broader systems we live within. I hold this context in mind as part of how I listen and respond, because it often helps bring more compassion and accuracy to the work.

This is a space where you do not need to hold everything together. My role is to stay steady with you so there is room for what is present, without pressure to rush, perform, or figure it all out.

If you are considering therapy, we can begin wherever you are. You may be coming with something urgent, or it may be something you have been carrying for a long time.

If this feels like a fit, you are welcome to book a consultation and we can begin from there.

Alongside you creating a steady, safe space to work through whatever you or your family may be facing, I bring particular expertise in the following areas:

Children, Youth, and School Success
I support young people (6+) as they navigate the social, emotional, and behavioral challenges of the school years. I have a special interest in helping students facing school anxiety or avoidance rebuild confidence and a sense of competence.

Couples Therapy
Drawing on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I work with couples to understand the attachment patterns beneath conflict. Together, we slow down reactive cycles, make sense of the deeper emotions driving disconnection, and create new moments of safety and responsiveness. The goal is not simply to resolve arguments, but to rebuild trust, strengthen emotional security, and deepen closeness.

Caregiver Support and Relational Repair
Using attachment-based approaches, including Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), I help parents shift from frustration toward clear, grounded leadership. I also work with families and couples to restore trust, strengthen connection, and rebuild safety in relationships.

Crisis, Risk, and Trauma Recovery
I provide a steady, regulated presence for high-acuity mental health needs, including suicide intervention and DBT-informed care. I work with individuals who experience high emotional sensitivity, helping them move from survival mode toward stability and agency.

Substance Use and Addiction
My approach looks beyond symptom management to explore the role of trauma and environmental stress. Together, we focus on building insight, resilience, and sustainable recovery.

Mental health and wellness should not be addressed only when things get hard. Building skills, connections, and understanding is essential to leading a joyful, fulfilling life. We must understand who we are, how our minds work, and what our hearts desire in order to find balance.

Therapy can be a place where we celebrate and enhance our strengths and gifts while noticing areas that need our attention. I offer a space that invites individuals to explore their goals, struggles, and successes. I hold space for the emotional duality that comes with parenthood and the challenges of co-regulation. My goal is for my clients to feel validated and empowered.

Together, we'll work to understand the experiences that have shaped who you are today, especially as you navigate the demands and transformations of parenting. Part of this work involves recognizing the patterns that show up when stress builds, when relationships feel strained, or when emotions run high.

A central part of our work together is building practical skills: tools for managing stress in the moment, communicating more effectively with your partner or children, and responding to challenges with intention rather than reactivity. This isn't about achieving perfection — as a person, a parent, or a child — it's about developing a toolkit you can actually use, one that grows with you and helps you build connection.

My unique work experience working within mediation, education and mental health has provided me with a wide range of knowledge to help support clients navigate social supports. I bring strong advocacy skills and an empathetic approach to support my clients practically & emotionally. My focus includes:

Emotional & Behavioural Challenges for Children/Youth
I support young people (6+) as they navigate the social, emotional, and behavioral challenges of the school years. My approach includes the caregivers and family system to better understand the root of these behaviours and concrete ways to support.

Separation & Co-Parenting Support
Using attachment-based approaches to build co-parenting plans, I help couples navigate the challenging transition of separation at any stage of the journey. Applying mediation experience to support families move forward together as they enter into a new way of existing.

Education Advocacy Support
I help caregivers understand and navigate the school system while holding space for the challenges that arise while advocating for your child's educational needs. I provide support reviewing and creating Independent Education Plans while helping parents understand academic accommodations. I also support students at every age to understand the importance of knowing how their mind learns while exploring new ways to build their skills.

ADHD Executive Function Skills
I provide individual executive function support for children, youth and adults to help identify areas of tension within daily life. Personally developed plans support individuals to build on skills while also finding opportunities to celebrate the unique ways in which their ADHD enhances their life.
